You read the headline right. G.I. Joe Retaliation has apparantly been pushed back to March 29, 2013, just a month before it's release date. The reason? Paramount and Hasbro say it's so that they can give fans a more immersive experience by converting the film to 3D. They think that a 3D conversion will help with box office performance. To pull a film a month before release with marketing in full swing for a tent pole film is pretty unheard of. Perhaps Hasbro is freaking out because Battleship sunk at the box office. Maybe G.I. Joe Retaliation just isn't that good so they feel they need 3D to sell it. Either way, we wait until March to find out!
