Batman '66 Is 50 Years Old

The 1966 Batman television series made it's broadcast premiere 50 years ago this week giving millions of kids their first memories of the Caped Crusader and the Boy Wonder.   With the show also came a lot of unique merchandise.  What kid wouldn't want a Batman belt buckle?  What about a Batman bowtie for those parties?  A Batman utility belt?  Holy no brainer Batman! Then of course every kid wanted a Batman soundtrack album so they could sing the opening song to the show.  All this was available to children in 1966 when Batman premiered and today merchandise from the show is  some of the most sought after Batman collectibles out there. To the Batmobile!  (Some photos courtesy of Bat-Blog.)
